(opens in a new tab)Cove Care Services is a Christian, nonprofit, ministry that exists to share the hope of Christ and protect the lives of unborn children by providing compassionate pregnancy medical services and parenting support to women, men, and families.
It's incredible how much can change in one visit. One moment of compassion, one conversation that brings clarity, one appointment (whether it's medical care, parenting education, or material support) that gives a woman exactly what she needs to take her next step. These visits often shift stories and you help make every single one of them possible. Thank you!
Volunteers make this ministry possible. If you've ever wondered how to get involved, we'd love to speak with you! We have opportunities for service in multiple areas throughout the center, but right now we have a particular need for Frontline Service volunteers at our front desk. Frontline volunteers help set the tone for every client who interacts with us, whether that be on the phone or walking in the door. If you're detail-oriented, dependable, adaptable, and enjoy connecting with people, a frontline volunteer position may be the right fit for you. Volunteer shifts are usually three hours once a week, and even that small window of time makes a meaningful difference for our clients and our staff. 20 women made decisions last month with the potential to change the future for them AND their unborn baby. Thank you for your role in helping to create a place where hope feels possible!
October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we want to honor the pastors who quietly carry so much of the weight of our community. They're there for the celebrations and the heartbreak and they offer steady presence in the every day moments in between. We see the impact of that partnership often. Earlier this year, one of our clients experienced a heartbreaking loss that reshaped his entire world. In the middle of deep grief and overwhelming responsibility, he needed more than resources. He needed a refuge. Because of our partnership with local pastors, we were able to connect him with a church that welcomed him with compassion and is walking through this season with him. This is the beauty of serving together to meet practical needs while also making space for hope, healing, and community. To the pastors who faithfully share the hope of Jesus Christ and pour into the lives of families every day, we're grateful for you. Your faithfulness makes a difference in ways that can't be measured!
Our Crib Class is just one of the many ways Equip (our parenting education program) supports women during and after pregnancy. Through three consecutive sessions, clients learn skills, ask questions, and gain community as they prepare for their new baby. The crib they earn at the end of the sessions is meaningful, but the true impact is in what they experience along the way. Your generosity makes classes like this possible. Thank you for investing in programs that equip moms not just with resources, but with knowledge and support that lasts far beyond their pregnancy.
Because of you, our Mobile Medical Unit was able to serve an additional 19 clients during the month of September in our surrounding community! This means 19 more people who may not have been able to come to our center for services were able to be seen in our "medical room on wheels". We're so grateful for the extended impact we're able to have due to our mobile unit.
Looking for a meaningful way to support our mission? Consider donating items to our Blessing Boutique! Your contributions help stock our shelves with essentials and make it possible for us to serve our clients. Listed are our most needed items. **Have items to donate? Simply pull around to our garage door and ring the bell. Our staff and volunteers would love to assist you!
Your generosity makes a huge difference. Last month, we were able to provide 2,892 diapers to families in our community. It's more than a number. It can mean stability and dignity when a mom or dad walks through our door and realizes they don't have to choose between feeding their family or buying diapers that week. Thank you for helping us to meet practical needs for our clients!
